This category uses Census 2021 figures for population, household count, median age, tenure mix and residents per hectare. It is shown as context on a report. It is never part of the Area Measure. Scoring who lives somewhere would be indefensible, so we do not do it.
Age mix, tenure and density can help you read an area as a place people already live, without turning that into a ranking. Density also lets us show recorded crime as a rate per 1,000 residents, not a raw pile of incidents.
You may still want the context: whether the neighbourhood is mostly households with children, or mostly owned homes, or a mix. That can inform whether the area matches how you want to live. It must not be used to rank people, so it stays off the 0-100 figure and on the page as facts you can read for yourself.
